INSURICA Receives OIPA Partner Award

June 22, 2016
TOPICS: OIPA
INSURICA, a privately-held independent insurance agency headquartered in Oklahoma City, received the 2016 Partner Award from the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association (OIPA).

The Partner Award is presented annually to oilfield service companies and other businesses that have proven to be supporters of the Oklahoma oil and natural gas industry.

“Service companies and independent producers are vital to each other’s success,” OIPA President Mike Terry said. “OIPA’s mission is and always will be to promote the independent producer. But independent producers couldn’t do what they do — and OIPA couldn’t do what it does — without the support of our friends in the service industry.”

INSURICA is Oklahoma’s largest independent insurance agency and is among the 30 largest privately-held agencies in the country. In addition to its corporate office in Oklahoma City, INSURICA has 29 locations throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, California, and Arizona. Its agents manage risk both domestically and internationally, focusing on a variety of industries and business disciplines.

Dave Deardeuff serves as INSURICA’s National Energy Practice Leader, offering insurance and risk management programs designed to help reduce loss frequency and severity for independent producers and the companies that serve them.

“INSURICA is honored and humbled to receive this prestigious award,” Deardeuff said. “The mission of our energy practice aligns directly with that of the OIPA — to deliver value and services that benefit Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry.”

Founded in 1955, the OIPA is the state’s largest oil and gas advocacy group, representing more than 2,500 members in the crude oil and natural gas exploration/production industry or affiliated businesses.
