Teague visits OIPA

December 13, 2013
Oklahoma Secretary of Energy and the Environment Michael Teague visited the OIPA Friday morning.

Teague and Deputy Secretary of Energy Jay Albert met with OIPA Chairman Ronnie Irani, Regulatory Committee Chairman Kim Hatfield, President Mike Terry, Vice President of Governmental Affairs Jeff Wilson and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Brian Woodard.

Teague shared with staff his appreciation of the industry’s efforts in education and well site cleanup through the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board. He also spoke of the importance of OIPA members in continuing the strong energy and environmental policies that have allowed the state of Oklahoma to weather the most recent financial crisis and maintain a strong economy in the midst of recession.

Teague recently retired as a colonel in command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District.
