Chesapeake gets Outside support

Outside, a magazine devoted to the people and politics of outdoor recreation, named Chesapeake Energy one of its 50 Best Places to Work.

Chesapeake was the only Oklahoma company on the list and the second largest employer, trailing only outdoor apparel maker Eddie Bauer.

In its overview of the top 50 companies, the magazine highlighted Chesapeake's Living Well program, that gives employees the opportunity to earn up to $1,500 in bonuses by participating in activities, taking a comprehensive health screening, exercising at least three days a week and maintaining a healthy weight.
